Join Us

The band welcomes players of all ages and all levels of ability.

If you have experience of playing in a brass band then you will be able to join the main band straight away - we can even lend you an instrument if required. We play a very varied repertoire of music, but are known for our emphasis on upbeat, fun pieces.

If you are a beginner, or would like to try a new instrument, then we can normally offer both the loan of an instument and some basic tuition to get you started. You can then join ourTraining Band, which is an enjoyable way of gaining experience and confidence before transferring to the main band.
